Collin Tibbs

Founder & Principal Consultant, Collin Tibbs Enterprises — Monroe, LA

Social media marketing expert and operations consultant. I didn't learn any of this in school — I learned it by failing at two businesses before I figured out what actually works.

I didn't start here.

Before Collin Tibbs Enterprises existed, I owned a remodeling and landscaping business. Then an excavation business. I knew the work — I could run equipment, manage a job site, deliver something a customer would be happy with. What I didn't know was how to actually run a business.

Both of my first two companies failed. Not because the work was bad — because I had no idea how to market them, and no real systems holding the operation together. I was good at the trade and blind to almost everything else that determines whether a business survives: where customers actually come from, how to price and structure an offer, how to build something that doesn't fall apart the moment I looked away from it.

"I learned marketing and operations the hard way — by getting them wrong first, more than once, with my own money on the line."

The third time, I did it differently.

By the time I started my excavation business, I'd learned enough about marketing and operations to actually build something that worked. Real lead flow instead of hoping word-of-mouth would carry the business. Real systems instead of everything running through me personally. It worked well enough that I eventually sold it — and started Collin Tibbs Enterprises, because I wanted to give other small business owners the help I wish someone had given me back when I was starting out.

That's the honest origin of everything Collin Tibbs Enterprises does. Not a marketing degree, not a corporate background — direct, expensive, first-hand experience with exactly what happens when a business owner is great at the work and lost on everything else. That gap is what I now spend my time closing for other people.

What I actually do now.

Collin Tibbs Enterprises handles the full range of what a small business actually needs to grow: operations and systems consulting — identifying the actual bottlenecks slowing a business down and building documented systems that don't depend on the owner holding everything together; social media management, production, optimization, and strategy across every major platform; and complete, professionally designed websites, done for you start to finish.

One person who actually understands all three disciplines — because building a business that works takes more than just marketing, or just a website, or just better systems. It takes all three working together, which is exactly why I built it this way instead of staying a single-service shop.

I built the guides, playbooks, and courses across this site from that same real-world experience — not recycled internet advice. Everything here is written to be honest about what actually works, and just as honest about what doesn't, even when the honest answer is less exciting than a guaranteed shortcut.

Why "Let's Build Better."

Because that's genuinely the whole approach. Not the fastest system, not a shortcut, not a guarantee — just building the actual thing, the actual systems, the actual marketing, better than it was before. That's what I wanted when I was failing at my first two businesses, and it's what I try to give every business owner, entrepreneur, and person just starting out who comes through this site.

How I Work

A few things that don't change.

Honest, Even When It's Less Exciting

No fake urgency, no guaranteed income claims, no shortcuts that don't exist. If the honest answer is "this takes real work," that's what you'll get from me.

Built From Real Experience

Every guide, every strategy, every piece of advice on this site comes from things I've actually done — including the versions that failed the first time.

Marketing and Operations Together

Getting customers in the door and having the systems to actually keep them are two different problems. I've lived both, and I treat them as equally important.
